Marintec China 2019

MTC Full logo

With the maritime industry facing great opportunities but also many challenges, it is important for the industry to connect and engage more to ultimately win new business in globally-significant markets. Exhibiting at Marintec China is a great way to learn about the latest technology and innovation of the supply industry, a platform for industry professionals to meet face to face, make connections and do business. It is undoubtedly a must-attend for all involved in the maritime industry wishing to do business in China.

The Society of Maritime Industries is organising and managing the UK group of exhibitors in a dedicated high traffic space.  For 2019 there will be a new stand design and build, increasing the visual appearance of the group.

  • UK Pavilion exhibitors are co-located in a prime location towards the front of Hall N3
  • Utilise the power of UK branding which symbolises quality, professionalism, design and engineering
  • SMI as the group organiser, deals direct with the main exhibition organisers, co-ordinates payments, appoints agents and stand contractors and briefs the exhibitors.
  • The UK Pavilion includes an information centre for the exclusive use of exhibitors in the UK Pavilion for refreshments
  • Assistance for translation
  • Chen Li Ming, our representative in Shanghai, will be able to assist firms who wish to do business in China
  • Close support from Department for International Trade Commercial Officers

The space we have been allocated is 7 metres in depth (aisle to aisle).  This requires us to have stands that are 3 ½ metres in depth instead of the normal 3 metres. At the outset different stand sizes are available from 3m wide by 3.5m deep (10 ½ sqm) in increments of 3.5sqm .e.g. 14sqm, 17 ½ sqm, 21sqm.   It will be difficult to expand our initial allocation of space so booking quickly is of prime importance if you want to ensure a position.

Each stand will come with:

  • Front counter/lockable cupboard
  • 1 x bar stool
  • Round table & 4 leather backed chairs
  • Waste bin
  • 500W electrical socket
  • Brochure rack
  • Spotlights
  • Carpet
  • Fascia name

The fee per square metre is £735.  This includes the space and standbuild costs (including electrical consumption)
